Prof PC Kavidayal is a renowned Professor in the field of Commerce and Management. He is a seasoned academician and education administrator par excellence. Having excelled in academics at school and college level, he rightly elected to be a teacher because teaching comes naturally to him and he has experienced deep inner satisfaction in this profession. His area of specialization is Finanace and Taxation with a particular emphasis on its practical applications. He has authored many articles on diverse aspects of finance. He has been a resource person at number of Management Development Programmes, Faculty Development Programmes, QIPs, Training Workshops organized by prestigious universities and institutions. Presently he is associated with the Department of Business Administration at Bhimtal Campus of Kumaon University, Nainital as a Professor and Head. He has played an instrumental role in the setting up and the highly lauded progress of the Department. He is actively engaged in guiding research studies for the award of Doctoral Degrees. He is Member in the Editorial Board of very prestigious ‘South Asian Journal of Tourism and Heritage’- an International Refereed Research Journal and ‘The Economic Challenger’ – a Refereed Research Journal. He has been awarded Swami Vivekanand State Award for Excellent achievements on NSS activities.
